At SherlockLock, we are committed to providing quality locksmith services and parts. This Return & Warranty Policy outlines the terms under which services and parts are warranted, in accordance with applicable U.S. consumer protection laws.
We provide a One-Year Limited Warranty on all labor and parts supplied and installed by Sherlock Lock. This warranty is valid for 12 months from the date of service and covers:
•Defects in workmanship during installation or repair
•Malfunctions of parts supplied by Sherlock Lock under normal use
If an issue arises that is covered under this warranty, Sherlock Lock will repair or replace the faulty part or correct the service at no additional cost to the customer.
This warranty does not cover:
•Parts not supplied by Sherlock Lock
•Service performed or tampered with by another provider
•Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or external events (e.g., vandalism, burglary, flood, or fire)
•Normal wear and tear of locks or mechanical devices
•Electronic malfunctions due to power surges or improper handling
In accordance with U.S. federal and state regulations, locksmith services are considered non-refundable once the service has been completed and approved by the customer on-site. However, we are committed to customer satisfaction:
•If you believe the service was not completed properly, you may request a service review within 7 calendar days of the original appointment.
•If a service defect is found and confirmed by our team, we will perform corrective work under the warranty terms.

To the extent permitted by law, Sherlock Lock shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use any product or service. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights that vary by state.
This policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and complies with applicable Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on consumer warranties and services.
